Detailed description and history of the artwork
The octopus is a reflection of our existence, where many tentacles, each with a unique experience, seem separate, but together form a unified whole. It visualizes the illusion of separation, where we, like the tentacles, forget our shared nature and fail to see the entire organism that we ourselves create. In this image, the truth is revealed: we are creators in these bodies, and our perception dissolves the illusion of separation.
The gilding, shimmering on the octopus’s body, reflects our creative divine energy. The mirrors are keys to understanding the illusion: they reflect fragments and, at the same time, offer the possibility to see ourselves in different roles, recognizing the unity hidden behind the apparent fragmentation.
Here, everyone becomes both a viewer and a creator at the same time. This work is an invitation to feel yourself as the author of this painting and to realize that our perception shapes our reality, allowing us to sense our power to create, transform, and unite.
